Any good news from Agloco Referreal Program? Well so far there is still status quo about the much awaited progress on the program, The last news from the company's official blog was on October 12 :

"At this point,we would like to give some feedback on some of the ideas and thoughts given.

Is the payment plan posted last month a permanent plan? No – as noted in a comment we made this is a plan we wanted to implement now to show Members that even though AGLOCO is currently losing money the hours they are putting in now would be compensated. Our website states that we will make no distributions until profitable. We could have considered a plan that the June, July, and August hours would be paid zero since no profits were forthcoming. We felt that would be an unfair plan to those Members who were supporting AGLOCO in its startup period. That is the purpose of this initial plan.

Can the payments be sped up? Of course they could – although the idea we were considering was making additional ‘bonus’ payments to the early hours (June, July, August, etc 2007 hours) when and if additional funds became available.

Should AGLOCO borrow money to pay Members? We believe this would be a critical error for AGLOCO. Giving out money that it was not earning was the downfall of AllAdvantage and we believe that spending only what AGLOCO makes is the best course for long term stability."

11. Azman Hashim, $405 million, age 66

Forty-six-year veteran of banking industry. Bought own bank in 1982 and eventually built it into diversified AM Group. Bank's original name, Arab-Malaysian, was dropped in 2002 in favor of more modern acronym. Chairs Malaysian Investment Banking Association and Malaysia-Japan Economic Association. Reportedly enjoys golf and water sports.

12. Vincent Tan, $355 million, age 54

Acquired Berjaya (which means success in Malay) in 1984, built it into conglomerate with interests in financial services, hotels, theme parks, lotteries, education, real estate and manufacturing (makes heating pumps and bicycles).

As you see from their short briefs, the youngest of them are at the age of 54, means that you have to work hard at least for 30 years after finishing secondary school before become rich. I've attended the The International Workshop On "EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN THROUGH RURAL ENTERPRISES" held on 20-27 March 2006, Hyderabad, India organized by Afro-Asia Rural Development Organization (AARDO).

Among the participating countries are People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Republic of China (Taiwan), Arab Republic of Egypt, Republic of Ghana, Republic of India, Republic of Iraq, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Republic of Kenya, Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamarihiya, Malaysia, Republic of Mauritius, Kingdom of Morocco, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Republic of the Philippines, Republic of the Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic and Republic of Zambia.

One of the paper discussed in the workshop is business opportunities in the rural sector which I think relevant for us to have the idea of generating extra income since 70% of our own country area is still rural:

Economic development in the rural areas has given rise to innumerable business opportunities. It is up to the initiative of the rural population especially the women to tap these opportunities and to turn them into income generating ventures. The government, on the other hand, through its departments and agencies is currently encouraging as many people as possible to participate in business in the rural areas so that they can increase their income levels. The ultimate aim of increasing the level of income of the rural population is to narrow the income disparity level between the rural and urban population.

In the agriculture sector, commercial agriculture has provided very good opportunities for the rural people to increase their productivity as well as income levels. Commercial agriculture is very closely associated with contract farming whereby an integrator farms out contracts to producers of crops, livestock, fish/prawns and buys back the harvests of these farmers. As such the producers are assured of markets for their products and they need not have marketing skills as their products have ready available markets. This form of business activity is gaining popularity in the rural areas and has been proven to be successful.

The manufacturing and processing industry in the rural areas, particularly the food processing industry, provides good business opportunities to rural entrepreneurs. This type of industry is easier to set up in the rural areas as it does not require very high capital cost, does not involve high risks and acquisition of very high technology. Being in the rural setting it can easily get access to the abundant raw materials that are readily available. Other potential business activities within the manufacturing sector in the rural areas include the production of:

(i) Textiles and textile products;

(ii) Craft products such as ceramics’, batik’, pewter, wood carvings, souvenir items;

(iii) Furniture and home decorations;

(iv) Plastics and plastic products; and

(v) Other consumer products.

In the services sector, there are currently increasing opportunities in the rural areas in business activities as follows:-

The Restaurant and Catering Business

The demand for readymade cooked food is on the increase in the rural areas. This trend is due to the constraint of time to prepare food as increasing number of women are working outside the house. Other than that there are many events/festivities requiring the services of the catering business.

Retailing Business

The retailing business including mini markets, retail shops, trading outlets, farmers’ markets and night markets assumes an important role in the rural areas. In fact this category of business provides convenience to the rural society.

Cleaning and Laundry Services

These services are becoming to be important and necessary in the rural areas with the construction and opening of an increasing number of schools/colleges, hospital/medical centres, office/business premises, resorts, hotels and retreat centres.

Health Care and Beauty Treatment Salon

The increasing awareness of the rural population towards health care and beauty aspects of life especially among the female population results in the need for the opening of beauty and hair treatment salons, aromatherapy and massaging centers. This form of business can be lucrative and catering not only for local clients but foreign tourists as well.

Tailoring Services

The tailoring service is also growing in importance in the rural areas. It provides good opportunities for rural entrepreneurs having the right skills. The demand for this service arises from the needs of uniformed personnel within the locality in the private as well as public sector. These enterprises even obtained orders from the urban areas where costs for this service are still relatively high.

Transportation and Distribution Services

Transportation service is also in demand in the rural areas to transport goods to outside markets. This service is also important for the tourist industry in order to promote rural tourism. Distribution services are also important especially in the agricultural sector where farm products are required to be sorted out/packed/weighed and made ready to be sent to supermarket/hyper-market in the town/city areas.

Cold Room and Refrigeration Services

In line with the government policy to encourage food production locally and to reduce imports of food, this service is important especially for perishables involving agricultural products. There is an increasing need for this service in the rural areas to prevent damage to farm products/or harvests from the sea.

Photography/Video

Photography and video recording provides good business opportunities to rural entrepreneurs as new technology in this area become more simplified and less costly to operate.

Anyone out there have any idea or current news about em-pay? till now I still wondering what had actually happen to the program. Since the investigation of Malaysian authorities had finished and the company still allowed to operate then there should be official announcement by the company about the current situation. That is the professional way of doing business.

There is also rumours saying that the company will sue Ustaz Zaharuddin over his statement on the program. So anyone know what had actually happen?

Few of my friends are mumbling how they still didn't get the money they withdraw from the company's online portal nearly for two months. I think the company should be able to run effectively if they want to expand globally. Otherwise it will be difficult to convince consumers on the business they are offering.

Did all Malaysian knows that we have the largest black sand beach in Langkawi island, Kedah. The beach located 19km north of Kuah town and called Pantai Pasir Hitam (Black Sand Beach). The black pigmentation of the sand is the result of the mineral content - thought to be tin or an oxide of tin, which may have come from the sea-bed or from the earth's crust. The sands on Pantai Pasir Hitam are pigmented black due to the tin and mineral ore deposits which washed up on the shore. Some people also believe that the black sand beach is caused by the the burnt soil from the rice fields that were burnt during the Siamese war. The burnt soil flowed to the sea got washed up on to this beach creating the black sand beach.

You should also know that the highest waterfall in Malaysia is the four-level waterfall in Taman Negara, Pahang which is locally known as the "Air terjun empat peringkat". It is 1,818m (5,965ft) high with a drop of 800m (2,720ft) from the first to the fourth level.

Whereas the tallest rock-climbing mural in Malaysia can be found in the Allson Klana Resort in Seremban with a total height of 36.58 metre (120ft) and 7.92 metre (26ft) in width. The climbing mural was built at the hotel in conjunction with the launching of the programme called "My All Inclusive Destination (MAD)". The creation of the mural took them 3 weeks, 10hours per day a total of 4 people to complete it. The team who painted the mural used a total of 3 colours of Plaka and ICI paints. The design on the mural was based on the picture of a mountain.

Our Proton has launched a new stylish sedan this Wednesday that it hopes will lift its sagging sales and return the company to profit. Proton hopes to export the new model to Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Britain and Australia to reap economies of scale.

The price 1.6 liter Proton Pesona could sell up to 48,000 units of the car during the first 12 months. It will be available in auto and manual versions, the car is competitively priced between RM44,999 (US$12,857; euro9,460) and RM55,800 (US$15,943; euro11,730).

So what do you think? Personally I think there's slight improvement in term of design of the model. So that we don't have to bear the same old design of proton. But overall I expect this 5th model of Proton car better than this. Anyway, Malaysia still BOLEH.

Plan C (World Pool Bonus)
This is actually a bonus from IPC for members who works their back off recruitting new members. But only Gold members are eligible for this plan. Total points collected = 10,000 points
IPC would pay RM4 each unit = 100,000 X RM4
IPC divide with total points = RM400,000 / 10,000
Total per point = RM40.00/point
So if you have 3 points for this month you would have earned an extra RM120.00

Plan D (They Shop You Earn)
Each time all the members below you no matter who put them there uses their IPC Shopping Services to shop or pay for bills, you will automatically earn 0.1% of their total spending. In fact you will earn from them up to 10 levels deep. Let's say you referred only 2 members and they in return referred 2 members each till the 10th level, you would have 2046 members below you. And if each of them spends an average of RM500 per month for shopping and bills, you would earn an extra RM2,046 per month. Imagine if you got more members or if they shopped more. My Handphone bills only per month is about RM350.00. Imagine....

Earnings
All your earnings with IPC would initially be credited into your online account. You may manage your account by going to http://www.em-pay.com or by clicking on the link below this page. From there you may choose to withdraw your earnings in any of the following methods.
a) Maybank Account : You may transfer all your earnings into your Maybank Account. We currently only accept Maybank.
b) IPC VISA Debit Card : You may transfer all your earnings into your debit card and subsequently use it anywhere which accepts VISA Electron or withdraw money through any ATM which accepts VISA transactions.
c) i-Wallet : You can use your earnings to pay your bills through our i-wallet service using your handphone.
